For Soapers.. - I've gone through three stick blenders in less than a year making soap. I finally decided to invest in a better immersion blender and I got it just this morning. First thing I did was pull it out, put it together( and yes, he's a BIG guy!) And then I made soap. Really quiet motor, but it brought my soap to trace in less than a minute. Yes. It's a great blender. I'll update in a couple of months since that how long my other ones have lasted and share how it's going.
Great quality - Nice solid construction. I make big 15-24 quart pots of soup and this blends everything in a few minutes leaving no big chunks. Stainless allows me to use in hot liquids. Speed setting is nice, turbo button works great. The ability to detach the motorized top from the blade wand makes cleanup a breeze.
